Urban Oil and Gas Group, LLC (“Urban”) has taken over operations for wells located in Walker County, Alabama that were previously operated by ARP Production Company, LLC. Please see the below for a list of commonly asked questions along with the complete list of wells acquired by Urban.
When does Urban mail payments?
Urban mails payments on the 25th of each month when the balance of your account has reached $100, or will be paid annually, whichever occurs first. If the 25th falls on a weekend or holiday, checks will be mailed the next business day.
Please allow up to 15 business days to receive your check before contacting Urban. Oil Revenues are paid within 30 days of the end of the production month and Gas revenues are paid within 60 days of the end of the production month.
I did not receive a payment from Urban?
The most common reason for not receiving payment after an acquisition is that we did not receive your W-9 timely. To comply with Internal Revenue Service regulations, we require a completed W-9 form to be on file. Notification letters and W-9s were sent on December 8, 2022 to the most recent address ARP had on file for you. If you did not receive this letter, please submit a current W-9 form to Urban. Please ensure your current mailing address is listed on the W-9 form.

Do you offer Direct Deposit?
Urban offers Direct Deposit to all interest owners who wish to participate. Direct Deposit eliminates mailing delays, lost or stolen checks, and receipt delays due to change of address.
If you elect to participate in this program, simply complete the Direct Deposit form and attach a voided check. You will also be able to view and print your check detail on a password protected website.
DUPLICATE REVENUE STATEMENTS, JIB STATEMENTS, OR 1099
Urban provides online access to your Revenue Statements, JIB Invoices, and 1099s via our secure portal called EnergyLink. After your first payment has been processed, you will be able to login to your EnergyLink account at http://www.urbanoilandgas.com/owners.

My Address has changed
Please notify us promptly of a change in your mailing address. For your protection, address changes must be made in writing, signed by the owner.
My Name has Changed
Please provide the legal documentation supporting your name change.
- Individuals: Provide a copy of legal documentation supporting the change (i.e. marriage license, divorce decree, or court order).
- Corporation: Provide a copy of Certificate of Name Change or Certificate of Merger.
Ownership Changes
All ownership changes must be supported with the recorded documentation to establish a complete chain of title into the new owner.

How do I request a copy of my Division Order or Lease?
Urban does not issue or generate division orders; however, most of the information generally found on Division Orders is included on your remittance statement.
Unfortunately due to the number of requests received by Urban, we are unable to provide copies of leases or other contracts. Copies of your lease are public record and can be requested from the county clerk's office.
